EPS Florin Awards Europe 2019 Are Now Open for Entries
Discover the EPS Florin Awards Europe categories and apply now for one of the awards which recognize individuals and organisations who have demonstrated excellence in the field of compliance and regulatory technology.
London, United Kingdom, March 06, 2019 --(PR.com)-- The European Payment Summit (EPS) has announced that 2019 Florin Awards Europe are now open for entries.
The Florin Awards appraise innovation and strongest solutions in the payments industry since 2010. This year, the Awards will dedicate special emphasis on the regulatory side of the industry, placing the spotlight on organisations and individuals who are exemplifying excellence in the field of compliance and regulatory technology.
Protecting the consumer and keeping our payments ecosystem safe and compliant is of paramount importance and so the Florins will recognise the companies, individuals and technologies that are forging ahead in this space. Advances in the FinTech and RegTech space will also be rewarded.
The Awards are open for entries in six categories, as follows:
Compliance Professional of the Year
This award recognises the accomplishments of an individual who positively embraces the compliance function, and who has shown innovative leadership in developing or enhancing a compliance program.
Best Payments Lawyer or Law Firm
This category is open to individuals or companies whose primary objective is the provision of legal services in payments. The winning entry will demonstrate legal and/ or entrepreneurial innovation, as well as evidence of having performed specific representation(s) of clients on regulatory issues.
Best Data Protection Officer
This award recognises Data Protection Officers who have made a real difference to how organisations approach data protection.
Best Head of AML/MLRO
This award will go to an individual or a team that has taken measures to align the business in a proactive manner with the various AML Directives set by regulators in the markets/jurisdictions in which the company operates.
Best RegTech Provider / Excellence in RegTech Award
This category is open to a RegTech provider whose product or service makes a significant and tailored contribution to enhancing compliance in the payments industry.
Best FinTech Provider/ Excellence in FinTech Award
This award recognises a FinTech provider whose product or service makes a significant breakthrough in enabling or enhancing the payments process.
Interested candidates can submit their entries by 15 March 2019 via the EPS website. A professional jury made up of experts and thought leaders from the industry will then select the nominees and the winners will be announced during the European Payment Summit in the Hague (25 – 26 April).
Organised by Currency Research, EPS offers a unique 2-day dual program featuring key developments in the payments/transaction space combined with key sessions on Open Banking, PSD2, the latest developments in the regulatory landscape and advances in technology. Next to plenary introductions, delegates can create a meaningful 2-day program in order to gain best insights on developments, debate on key issues and learn best practice initiatives.
