Humane Society of the United States
Celebration Resort Relief employees are happy to keep up their contributions to the Humane Society of the United States. Many volunteer their time to local Humane Society shelters, as well as participate in their company’s fundraising efforts. Several of their employees also carry on their President’s example and foster pets in their homes as well.
The Humane Society of the United States has several purposes; to provide direct care to many animals through shelters, veterinary services, and rescues. They also employ animal rights lawyers to fight for the protection and enforcement of animal rights law. The Humane Society is also one of the first on the front lines to rescue pets during national disasters, such as Hurricane Michael and the Camp Fire that devastated California. “Animals don’t have a way to speak up for themselves,” stated President Joe Valinho. “The Humane Society is their voice and it is important to us to help them continue their work.”
