PMI Metrolina Hosts 3rd Annual Veteran's Transition & Skillfest Event
Spring Lake, NC, March 15, 2019 --(PR.com)-- PMI Metrolina, in conjunction with American Legion Post 230, VFW Post 4542 and the Town of Spring Lake, are hosting their Third Annual Veterans Transition & Skillfest Event. The event takes place on Saturday, April 6th, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Town of Spring Lake – Recreation Center – 245 Ruth St., Spring Lake, NC, 28390.
The event is free for veterans and open to all branches of the military, active, guard/reserve, veteran and retired and will feature potential employers, recruiters and direct hire companies, guest speakers and Q & A session with military veterans.
Attendees will leave with ammo to further their transition to project management and other IT disciplines along with a significant number of new networking opportunities. Interested in project management? Not sure what project management is? Attend our session on project management certification.
Guest speaker Jay Hicks, Army veteran and author of "The Transitioning Military Project Manager" series of books will be returning. His books help to translate the military experiences into civilian lingo. Motivation speaker, coach and mentor Morgon Latimore a 20 plus year active duty Marine will share his inspiring thoughts and message on leadership, life transitions, relationship development and resilience.
