Hendersonville, NC, March 21, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Organic Seed Company to Donate 1% of 2019 profits to Veterans Healing Farm.
Veterans Healing Farm (VHF) is proud to announce that they will be partnering with Seeds of Change in 2019 on their “You Buy, We Give Back” donation program, to receive 1% of profits. The partnership will be announced on Seeds of Change displays in stores nationwide. To date, Seeds of Change has donated over one million to community-based gardening and farming projects. So, this year, you can donate to VHF through buying organic, non-GMO seeds for your garden. Seeds of Change is a company whose values around sustainability and community are strongly aligned with those of VHF. Founded in 1989, Seeds of Change has a strong focus on preserving heirloom seeds and ensuring their seeds are non-GMO and sourced from trusted farmers.
Veterans Healing Farm serves our nation’s veterans by providing innovative educational experiences, developing a national farm community model, and donating flower bouquets and nutritious produce to veterans. Since 2015, VHF has donated over 35,000 pounds of produce to veterans and their caregivers at the Asheville VA Hospital. VHF volunteers make sure that all who receive VHF flowers and vegetables walk away feeling loved, respected, and cared for.
Seeds of Change donations will help VHF continue to donate produce, train veterans, and build community. One training participant said VHF “is what every veteran needs. We need a place where we belong and can join a tribe of others who have gone through the same transition.” Another said, “so love when I have an appointment at the VA and they are there with fresh vegetables, watermelons, and flowers. They are truly a blessing to us veterans who served.”
Seeds of Change is announcing this partnership on their display in stores nationwide.
