OmniFi Access Supports Straight-Through Business Intelligence
SkySparc, an independent solutions provider, has added new functionality to OmniFi to simplify data exchange and analysis for users of market-leading business intelligence (BI) tools.
Stockholm, Sweden, March 27, 2019 --(PR.com)-- OmniFi Access uses SkySparc’s Web service API to enable streamlined, real-time data flows from treasury management systems such as Wallstreet Suite to market-leading BI applications including Microsoft Power BI and Tableau. Data is still enriched, mapped and transformed by the newly-released OmniFi 7.2, but its Access component removes the need to use file transfer or data warehouses to access the full range of analytics and visualizations offered by BI tools.
In a recent report[1], Gartner Group defines modern analytics and business intelligence tools as easy-to-use platforms that support the full analytic workflow “from data preparation and ingestion to visual exploration and insight generation.” These self-service and agile tools require minimal IT staff support to predefine data models or store data.
Marcus Gullers, Head of Product Management, SkySparc, said: “OmniFi Access sends data directly to these best-of-breed BI tools, empowering users to easily visualise and analyze the data to make smarter, better-informed business decisions. This is an important first step on our journey in which APIs will unleash new benefits to OmniFi users.”
SkySparc CEO Joakim Wiener said: “Excel-based analysis of financial data is now giving way to a new open era of interoperability, flexibility and choice. OmniFi Access’s ability to connect seamlessly with an exciting new generation of BI tools and provide deep insights to users is just one example of how SkySparc clients can reap more business value from data.”
