President Robert Miller Congratulates Future Electronics Indonesia on Their 5-Year Anniversary
Robert Miller, President of Future Electronics, congratulated Future Electronics Indonesia on the occasion of their 5th anniversary.
Pointe Claire, Canada, March 28, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, recently celebrated the 5th anniversary of the company's expansion into Indonesia.
Future Electronics was founded in Montreal in 1968 by company President Robert Miller. It expanded into the United States in 1972, opening its first office in Boston, Massachusetts.
Future Electronics established operations in Indonesia in 2014, opening their office in Jakarta, the country's capital. The Indonesian archipelago has a population of 260 million, and while it is already the 16th largest economy today, it is projected to move up to the seventh position by 2030.
"The Future and FAI ASEAN sales teams do an excellent job of covering the market," said Yew Meng Teo, Regional Vice President, ASEAN Sales at Future Electronics. "We are confident that we can put up significant growth again this year despite the uncertainly in the market," Teo said.
The country's young population is quickly urbanizing, which is driving income growth. In the next decade or so, Indonesia will add an estimated 90 million new consumers. The growth rate of the country's consumer class is behind only China and India, and signals a wealth of new business and investment opportunities.
"We are confident that we can put up significant growth again this year despite the uncertainly in the market," Teo said. Company president Robert Miller congratulated everyone at Future's Indonesian office for their 5-year milestone, and thanked them for their outstanding performance.
