Local NICA Member Participates in National Home Inventory Month
Tampa, FL, April 02, 2019 --(PR.com)-- The National Inventory Certification Association (NICA) established recognition of National Home Inventory Month in April 2018. Now in its second year, this concerted effort by the association and industry professionals raises awareness of the many life events that require or benefit from having a home or business inventory prepared.
NICA is the industry association that focuses on education and certification for personal property inventory service providers.
Recurring disasters, increased thefts, and a growing desire to protect one’s assets have encouraged the growth of this service industry. In addition to assisting with information when filing an insurance claim, contents inventories also are required or preferred for estate settlement, financial and estate planning, separation of assets, pre-nuptials, and recording collectibles. Busy lifestyles encourage many to hire an inventory professional to create this documentation for their residences, vacation homes, apartments, off-site storage units, and small businesses.
Palmer Home and Business Inventory Professionals, LLC, has chosen to participate in this initiative to provide information of the value of this documentation for homes and small businesses. PHBIP President Debra Palmer said, "I am excited to again participate in National Home Inventory Month this year. My clients understand the value of having an up to date home inventory and National Home Inventory Month is a great opportunity for others to learn the importance as well. My participation in this awareness campaign will include promoting the initiative via social media and networking with local groups at events throughout the month of April."
