The International Business Academy of Green Bay, WI is Co-Sponsoring an International Foodfest

In order to raise funds for scholarships and to support a volunteer trip to Cambodia, a fund raiser will be held in Green Bay on April 18th.

Green Bay, WI, March 28, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Save The Date – The International Business Academy of Green Bay is co-sponsoring an International Foodfest.

The International Business Academy (IBA) of Green Bay is co-sponsoring an International Foodfest to help raise funds for a Cambodia water filtration project with Terry Taylor of Globalteer.

The IBA is a strong union of students from the Green Bay area leading a diverse student community toward cultural awareness, acceptance, and respect for success in a global business economy. It provides employment-learning opportunities with local businesses and organizations through job-shadowing, internships, field trips, speakers, volunteering, service learning hours, community service and much more.

The IBA will be co-sponsoring an International Foodfest on April 18, 2008, at the SC Grand in DePere, WI. The Fest will feature a variety of restaurants providing different ethnic foods and drinks, live music, and entertainment. In addition to the entertainment, there will be other fun activities. Admission is free to the public.

A portion of the proceeds will go to help fund a Cambodian Water Filtration project. Terry Taylor of Denmark, WI will be traveling to Cambodia in May of this year to assist in a project to help provide clean and sanitary water to poverty stricken areas.

Terry is a resident of Denmark, WI with his wife Kim, and their son Michael. As well as being a part of Globalteer, Terry is also a member of the Denmark American Legion and Green Bay West Rotary. This project will help provide safe drinking water to an area were currently one in seven children die of water borne illness before they reach the age of five. The project's goal is to create sustainable water filtration systems that will purify water for years to come with little to no maintenance

Another portion will go to provide scholarships for some of the graduating students of the Academy.
