PAWS NY Hosting Its Annual Spring Benefit to Raise Money for Low-Income Seniors and Their Pets

Every dollar raised helps NYC’s most vulnerable residents and their pets stay together.

New York, NY, April 12, 2019 --(PR.com)-- PAWS NY announced it will host its Annual Spring Benefit on Tuesday, May 14th, at the Helen Mills Event Space and Theater, located at 137 West 26th Street. General Admission and Special Supporter tickets will go on sale April 2nd and the online auction will open April 30th.

Every dollar raised will support PAWS NY’s mission of helping low-income seniors and individuals struggling with an illness or disability to keep their pets, who are often their sole companions and provide much needed comfort. As one client describes his relationship with his four-legged companion: “He’s the greatest anti-depressant you could imagine. He means everything to my life.”

Last year’s event raised over $50,000 for people and pets in need, and with the help of our community and network of supporters, we hope to raise even more as we continue protecting these incredibly specials bonds.

The event will feature an online silent auction leading up to and during the event, an open bar, and vegetarian hors d'oeuvres. The event will be sponsored by Chemed Corporation and Domaine Select Wine & Spirits.
