Major Computer Manufacturer Deploys 1,600 Seats of Event Focus Software
Austin, TX, March 28, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Iontas announced today that a major US based computer manufacturer purchased 1,600 licenses of the company’s innovative Event Focus software. The software gives the company’s contact center greater capabilities and system flexibility so they can deliver higher quality service to customers, improve operational efficiency, and enhance productivity.

The Event Focus module, part of a three-module Focus software suite, monitors and analyzes a company’s software activity to detect specific events or values. Event Focus then “triggers” alerts and actions in real time based on these values and events.
For example, when an Event Focus running in a contact center encounters particular software activity or values, it might trigger the recording of phone calls (such as those from customers at key accounts or certain regions), initiate a screen capture of data that appears on a user’s PC, alert a supervisor if a transaction value exceeds a specified amount, send e-mail alerts, or immediately suspend a user’s network access if a security violation occurs.
Event Focus requires no integration with a company’s existing software systems to capture events, while integration for other event-capture tools might cost companies tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars. “Event Focus is the only software in the world that can watch for events in software of any kind of event without special integration or any other invasive procedures,” noted McCreesh.
