Dream-Granting Organization Hosts NYC Wine Tasting
Special event will raise funds to support Dream Foundation’s mission to bring final Dreams to life for terminally-ill adults nationwide.
New York, NY, April 10, 2019 --(PR.com)-- On Tuesday, April 30, supporters will gather for wine, culinary sensations and Dreams. Dream Foundation, the only organization that fulfills final Dreams for terminally-ill adults across the nation has served more than 30,000 Dreams over the last twenty-five years. The Foundation seeks to provide inspiration, comfort, and closure at the end of life for Dream recipients and their families. This month, a dedicated community of Dream Makers and new friends will raise vital funds to support future Dreams.
This intimate gathering will take place at the 1905 Lounge at HGU Hotel, an urban haven for style and culture. The event will feature renowned wines from The Withers Winery. Its founder, Andrew Tow will be in attendance to pour and discuss a curated selection, including his famed Rosé, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Rhone varietals. A surprise celebrity chef will be serving culinary delights throughout the evening to further entice the palate.
Dream Foundation is honored to welcome Dream recipient, Ira Wind’s brother, Shalom Wind. Wind will share his brother’s remarkable Dream story and how his Dream of becoming a musician brought comfort and peace to the entire family.
In addition to the wine and food, an exciting silent auction with rare wines and gourmet packages will engage attendees. Current event sponsors and in-kind donors include HGU Hotel, The Withers Winery, and Mario Muredda and Harrison & Star. All proceeds will benefit Dream Foundation.
Event participants will include Dream Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Kisa Heyer, and members of the organization’s New York Advisory Council, Christine Coyne, Mark Friedman, Jacqueline Indelicato, Jason Kra, Mario Muredda, Daryl Nanes, Lindsay Ornstein, Len Paolillo, Jennifer Razor, Kari Siegel, Peter Siegel, Lindy Snider, Blair Stearns, and Cyndy Villano. Additional special guests and VIPs will be announced as the date draws near.
