Operation Food Search Names Director of Development
Ellen Reed-Fox brings nearly 25 years of fundraising and leadership to the position.
St. Louis, MO, April 14, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Operation Food Search (OFS), a non-profit hunger relief organization, recently hired Ellen Reed-Fox as its Director of Development. Her responsibilities include overseeing and directing all of the agency’s fundraising efforts including annual, major and planned giving programs.
Reed-Fox has nearly 25 years of fundraising and leadership experience. Prior to joining OFS, she worked with several non-profit organizations in a development and advancement capacity including Unleashing Potential (formerly Neighborhood Houses), Edgewood Children’s Center, and Washington University. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Geography, as well as her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Spanish from University of Missouri-Columbia.
“Ellen has extensive non-profit experience, which will greatly assist her efforts when building relationships with the community,” said Operation Food Search’s Executive Director Kristen Wild. “Her leadership approach complements our management team’s vision, and we look forward to watching her strategically lead our fundraising campaigns to the next level.”
Founded in 1981, Operation Food Search (OFS) is a hunger relief organization that provides food and nutrition education. With a strategic focus aimed at ending childhood hunger, OFS empowers families with a range of programs and services proven to reduce food insecurity and increase access to healthy and affordable food. The agency helps feed more than 200,000 individuals on a monthly basis – one-third of which are children – through a network of 330 community partners in 31 Missouri and Illinois counties.
