OGONEWYORK will host its 6th annual True Beauty Women's Celebration. The annual event is hosted by the True Beauty organization to celebrate women and teen girls making significant social impact within the community.

The annual event is hosted by the True Beauty organization, an organization founded by OGONEWYORK, a womenswear fashion boutique with a mission to impact culture through the education and empowerment of women and teen girls. OGONEWYORK is located in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.
The True Beauty Organization fights gender inequality through the education and empowerment of women and teen girls. With a focus on developing leaders dedicated to social impact resources are provided to women and teen girls through live workshops, seminars and mentorship programs.
The True Beauty Annual Women's Celebration is an event curated with the sole purpose of celebrating women and teen girls making significant social impact within the community. Three women and two teens girls will be recognized for their success, professionally, academically and socially. At the event female industry and thought leaders will share personal stories, game-changing secrets and success tips in an intimate setting.
The 2019 True Beauty honorees are, keynote speaker and Legacy award honoree, April Tam Smith , managing director of a top tier investment bank and founder of Manhattan based award winning vegan restaurant P. S Kitchen, Amarimba Charles, Founder and Executive Director of T.A.L.L.O.M. (This Awesome Little Light Of Mine), who will receive the Outstanding woman in business award, award winning artist, Mariam Raj who will be honored as a Woman to Watch and Ariana Solecki and Faizah Rabbye who will both receive the outstanding teens award.
A panel discussion covering the topic of Harmony - Body, Mind and soul will take place. The panelists will include YWCA Brooklyn President, Martha Kamber, Sole practitioner and Law Attorney, Rita Osunai, registered nurse and founder of Bay Ridge based Medi Spa, Rena Ross and Event founder and CEO of OGONEWYORK, Ogo Ekweozor-Holley.
