The exhibition will be held concurrently with the Saudi Sustainable Energy and Technology Forum (Saudi SETF 2019), with support from SABIC and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) as research partner. Saudi Elenex 2019, which will be held at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Centre (RICEC), will highlight the Kingdom's promising opportunities as the country moves forward with ambitious projects to transform the renewable and clean energy sector. The Saudi government has recently pledged to invest USD 109 billion to produce 41 gigawatts of solar power, in line with a comprehensive plan to produce 54 gigawatts of renewable energy by 2032.

Saudi SETF 2019 is set to host discussions regarding current policies and regulatory laws related to renewable energy and electricity generation projects, the challenges facing localization of the solar and wind technology industry locally and explore investment opportunities within the renewable energy sector in the Kingdom. The exhibition will also serve as an exclusive platform for alternative and renewable energy suppliers to showcase their products.
