San Diego, CA, April 27, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Prospect Financial Group, Inc., a leader in the mortgage home finance industry, is excited to announce the winners of their 2019 Quarter 1 Sales Competition.
The Quarter 1 Sales Contest measures Mortgage Loan Originator performance in a number of categories throughout the quarter. Metrics include performance indicators like number of loan submissions, loan submission pull-through, overall volume, online reviews, fastest closings, and many more categories. Points are awarded to the top three loan officers in each category. At the end of Quarter 1 this year, the results were calculated, and it was determined that the Quarter 1 Sales Contest winner was a tie between two Senior Loan Officers: Russ Schlehuber and Jessie Beckett.
Not only does Prospect’s sales contest reward originators with a strong work ethic, but it also ties the company’s core values in. Prospect prides itself on their five unique core values and encourages all employees to continually represent these values in their interactions with clients, coworkers, and third-party vendor partners. These five core values are plastered on their office walls and are constantly used in our company storytelling as a reminder to employees in all positions to stay motivated, focused, and dependable for clients, as well as to one another, to keep the culture thriving. Prospect Financial Group’s core values are: be a team player, be proactive, keep a positive attitude, do the right thing, and be passionate.
“Our team is extremely proud of all Loan Officers at Prospect for their hard work and dedication to this contest. We are especially proud of Jessie and Russ for their determination to become Quarter 1’s top Loan Officers,” stated Jason Vondrak, Prospect Financial Group Chief Executive Officer.
Senior Loan Officer and top Loan Officer of Quarter 1, Russ Schlehuber, has been with Prospect Financial Group for three years, and he has been a Loan Officer for ten years total.
“Working in a career where I know I’ll get out what I put in is what I like most about being a Loan Officer. I’ve worked in many roles before and have always been a hard worker, but it doesn’t always pay off. When you’re in a sales position, you are rewarded for the extra time you put in. Being a loan officer, or in any sales position, is much like driving a performance car. If you don’t invest in your car, it’s not going to win the race. Constant education and training backed by a tremendous amount of discipline will get you to the next level. Never stop improving,” said Russ Schlehuber.
In the three years Russ has been with Prospect, he has closed approximately $68M in mortgage loan volume.
Senior Loan Officer and top Loan Officer of Quarter 1, Jessie Beckett, has also been with Prospect for three years.
“I have been with the Michigan team at Prospect Financial Group since I got my license in September of 2016. Russ Schlehuber taught me everything I know about the mortgage business, so I think it is neat that the two of us got to share this accomplishment. To me, the best part about being a Loan Officer is being able to make a very real difference in people’s lives. Helping someone purchase their first home or take cash out to pay off steep medical bills makes all of the long hours well worth every moment,” stated Jessie Beckett.
In the three years Jessie Beckett has been with Prospect Financial Group, she has closed approximately $77M in mortgage loan volume.
Both of these originators deserve credit for their accomplishments in their tenure at Prospect Financial Group and as the company’s Q1 Top LOs. They have helped put many homeowners in a better financial position and have positively contributed to the company’s culture and success.
