National Van Lines CEO & Chairman Maureen Beal Named a Crain's Chicago Business Top Exec
Broadview, IL, April 28, 2019 --(PR.com)-- National Van Lines CEO & Chairman Maureen Beal has been named one of Crain's Chicago Business' 2019 Notable Women Executives Over 50.
Maureen is the only executive working within the long-distance relocation industry to earn a place on this prestigious list.

Like the relocation world she’s called home for nearly 50 years, Maureen’s journey has been a roll-up-your-sleeves, rough-and-tumble experience since her start as a teen NVL switchboard operator all the way to taking the helm of National Van Lines in 1993 after her father’s passing.
“Despite progress, women are still scarce among senior leaders, according to a 2018 report by nonprofit group Catalyst,” Crain’s Chicago Business stated in making the announcement April 25. “Only 4.8% of Fortune 500 CEOs are women, and women account for less than a quarter of senior roles globally.”
Maureen has greatly elevated the moving industry’s visibility by remaining involved in women’s leadership and entrepreneurial organizations. She’s ensured NVL entrenches itself in moving-industry legislative and logistical issues via her prominent roles in many trade associations, including the American Moving & Storage Association.
She’s devoted herself—and encouraged the volunteer might of NVL’s employees—to such charitable causes as Aspire, Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital and the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation.
