Chicago, IL, May 04, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Vertical Medical City, LLC, a new Lean Mid Rise Development Project is coming to the core of Downtown Chicago in the Loop.
A striking, self-sustaining, resident-focused, advanced technology-driven facility, it will be made of a lean tower to deliver from Residential Facilities and Amenities, Preventative and General Geriatric Care and Outpatient Medical Office and Research spaces throughout about 1/2 million square feet. This will be the first of multiple VMC CHI locations for the windy city.
Although originally a much more dense development, for Ponte it was important to get the Residents "much more integrated into the Urban Fabric of Chicago," which she explains meant much closer to the city's public parks and transportation. The primary focus of the facility is to bring to the city the next level Assisted Living, Care, and Wellness for residents and outpatients 60 and over.
PONTE HEALTH's first Chicago property will be developed at 424-434 South Wabash Avenue, slated for over 21 stories of biophilic and interactive environments, a site which is a few feet from the Public Library and its "L" stop, a block from Grant Park and Congress, and near Printers and Jewelers Row.
Vertical Medical City's flagship development in Orlando, whose Master Plan application is under review by City Officials, is being led by JACOBS and is set to break ground on 1.4 Million square feet before the year's end.
