NAAFA-LA's Fattitude Festival Celebrates All Sizes

Join the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance on Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 11am to 4pm in the Great Hall at Plummer Park, 7377 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, California for fashion, music, dancing, food and fun. Admission is free and all are welcome.

Size-positive entertainment features Joy Nash (whose "Fat Rant" has received over a million views on YouTube), legendary plus-sized belly-dancing troupe, The Fatimas, UE3 Records/Sony Red recording artist, Gael MacGregor, award-winning actress Jennifer Jonassen, LA Women in Music's 2008 Comet Award finalist, Michele Vreeland, Without the Blonde (whose song, "Movie Star" is wowing acoustic music fans), singer/songwriter Roc Zonte and more to be announced.

Two fashion shows (12:30pm & 2:30pm) will feature plus-sized models strutting their stuff in fabulous fashions from T-shirts and sports clothes to lingerie and evening wear.

Vendors ready to clothe, accessorize, pamper and glamorize attendees include Big on Batik, By Ro Designs, Judi Richardson Jewelry, Love Your Body! Project, Plussize Quality Costumes, Rogerswear, Imelda Bedolla Jewelry, Va Va Va Voom, Massage by Delia, Prince Handbags, Salon Pin Up, Singerplum Jewelry and more.
