NOMA Beauty Magazine’s Kelli Dunn Embraces Men and Makeup

NOMA Beauty Magazine's Editor-at-Large Kelli Dunn talks about the May issue's article on Men and Makeup.

New York, NY, March 30, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Over the last decade, more men have become open to using makeup and cosmetic products and Editor-at-Large Kelli Dunn announced that in the May issue of NOMA Beauty Magazine, that topic will continue to be explored.

“In our first issue we gave some tips for men on how to apply basic makeup, such as toners, moisturizers, and concealors. This time around we talk about “The Art of Aging.” Just like woman, men are becoming more concerned with how they look and more importantly, how age is making them look. So in the article we answer some of the questions that men may have as well as explain how and why the face ages as it does and how to slow down, and in some cases, reverse the process,” Kelli Dunn commented.

When asked what she honestly thought of men who wear makeup? She answered:

“I say to each there own. Women use makeup to look beautiful and to look their best, why not men. I’m around a lot of actors, models, lawyers and businessman that may moisturize, or use eye de-aging creams, and even in some cases light foundation, on a daily basis. They look very masculine and at the end of the day, all they are doing is maximizing what they are already working with.”

The Editor-at-Large also informed us that the May will be a landmark issue. Not only will the issue continue to explore men and makeup, as well as continue to present the most comprehensive information of interest to makeup artists and those who love makeup and beauty, but it will be NOMA Beauty Magazine’s true launch issue. She invites men and woman alike - be them a professional makeup artist or not - to join NOMA for what will be a fun look into the world of makeup and beauty.
