The free event was sponsored by Medical Alert Systems for Seniors and The Elder Care Firm. Dozens of vendors came together to provide resources for seniors to connect to companies that fit their health, lifestyle, and legal needs. The annual event took place on the College campus on April 29th.
As the last wave of Baby Boomers are retiring, planning for retirement has never been more important--or fun. Caretakers and seniors in the greater Detroit area were able to come and learn more about how to make the most of their golden years. Attendees got to leave with goodie bags and a knowledge of how to handle retirement and some of the struggles that come with age a little better with the help of speakers and special guests.
