Michael Terence Publishing Announce the Release of Experience - and a Sharp Knife! by William Berry
Michael Terence Publishing is excited to announce the release of Experience - and a Sharp Knife! – an amusing memoir of the transport industry by William Berry.
Thame, United Kingdom, May 29, 2019 --(PR.com)-- About Experience - and a Sharp Knife!:
From growing happily in a faraway forest to getting cut down and ultimately a boyhood interest in transport, probably inspired by growing up on a busy Manchester road, leads to a 55-year career in the transport industry, initially hidden away in the offices of a port and harbour authority but then for nearly 40 years exposed to public gaze in the bus and coach sector.
The book charts that early life and subsequent career, showing the influences on both, for good or ill, of a number of women who have played a part in the writer’s life. There are recollections of many incidents and experiences, some amusing, some nail-biting, others heart-rending but the whole recounted in a light-hearted but informative manner, giving an insight into the struggles of a shy, introverted character to come to terms with the often alien environment in which he finds himself.
