Institute of American English Delays Start of Spring Semester for Testing and Improvement of New, Online Classrooms
Institute of American English, a leader in online English education, has announced that they will begin updating their online classrooms. The delay of the Spring semester of classes will allow technical adjustments to be completed so that teachers and students will have cutting-edge classrooms available when they return to their online classes.
Winston-Salem, NC, April 02, 2008 --(PR.com)-- To maintain their place as a leading education center, Institute of American English has been in the process of updating classrooms. Unlike brick and mortar classrooms, the new classrooms are electronic.
The new classrooms, which will open April 7, 2008, are similar to the old ones in that all of the functions of the old rooms are still there. The improvement is in the voice quality. The new classrooms have additional voice capability and clarity, something that company officials know is crucial to language acquisition. The new classrooms will have a slightly different look, but function much the same.
Several factors drove the decision to improve the classrooms. According to company officials, "We have a desire to stay at the forefront of online education. It is our desire to see our students have the best chance for learning and getting a quality education. Though we hated to delay the start of the classes, we think the students and teachers will enjoy the performance increase and clarity of the new classrooms."
One factor that limited effectiveness of online classrooms in the past is the lack of clarity in the online communications. However, online communications has come a long way in recent years and especially in recent months. With a new provider of online classrooms, new courses being developed, and overall expansion, company officials expect their position as a world leader in online education to be recognized by all who visit the classrooms. These improvements, they say, will keep Institute of American English on the cutting edge of online classes for some time to come.
