Real Fleet Solutions Announces Acquisition of R&K Pump & Equipment
Service Vehicle Upfitting Company to Expand Footprint with South Florida Acquisition.
Cocoa, FL, June 26, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Real Fleet Solutions (RFS), the Southeast’s leading manufacturer of specialized bodies for lawn care, pest control and service vehicles, announced today the planned merger of their business operations with R&K Pump & Equipment. RFS will acquire the R&K assets, people and customer contracts and the merged business will operate under the Real Fleet Solutions brand. The combined entity will be the “go to” upfitter for all lawn, pest control & tree service needs, from simple parts and service to the largest and complex trucks.
RFS’s tradition of excellence dates back to the 1990s, when a company Really Innovations recognized the need for innovation and matching manufacturing expertise tailored specifically to service the lawn & pest industries. In 2017 the current Real Fleet Solutions (RFS) was established in Cocoa, Florida and true to its cultural roots committed itself to focusing one-hundred percent on the lawn, pest and service truck up-fitting business. Most recently the partnership team purchased the 6 adjoining acres to the north of the current property to support its continued growth.
R&K Owner, Ken Byrd explained that the two companies share a commitment to providing the highest-quality services and products. "We are really looking forward to joining the RFS team that has been making great strides in creating the pre-imminent upfitter for the markets we currently serve." Byrd will join the leadership team at RFS as the Pompano location’s General Manager.

Having both locations in operations will enable them to provide current and future customers with faster and more convenient parts and service on a daily basis.
