Award Winning Artist Kathryn Shipley Nominated for 7 Awards in the 2019 Josie Music Awards

She has been nominated in the following categories:
Modern Country Female Artist of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year - “Stand” various artists, Best Musical Collaboration - “Words” Trace Thompson and Kathryn Shipley Songwriter Trace Thompson, Gospel/Christian/Inspirational - “Missing Faces” Songwriter Connie Cassell Tuck -Producer - Ben Arndt, Modern Country Song of the Year - “Signs” - Songwriter Chuck Thomas, Producer - Daniel Dennis, and Entertainer of the Year - Gospel/Christian/Inspirational.
The Josie Music Awards is one of the largest independent awards shows. This year, the Josie Music Awards received over 23,000 submissions.
On September 21, 2019, Kathryn Shipley will be performing on the main stage with award winning artists Natalie Jean and Levi Coby.
In 2018, Kathryn won Song of The Year – Modern Country Female, for her song “God Gave Me All I Need” and in 2017, she won Artist of The Year – Country Gospel. Kathryn Shipley (St. Charles, MO) and Louisiana, MO native is an amazing vocalist, that is driven to help and inspire any up and coming artist. She performs and writes for Country and Inspirational music. She has been nominated numerous times for her music and has won several awards.
This year, she is nominated in the 2019 KICMA Awards for Female Vocalist of The Year, nominated in the 2019 LDM Music Awards for her Country song, “God Gave Me All I Need,” and is a finalist in the St. Louis Sound Finals, in which she is set to perform on June 26, 2019. Kathryn is also heavily involved in volunteerism and charity work and is also one of the vocalists in a band she was part of forming, called AnSaka that does Christian and Secular Music.
She is also a spokesmodel for a new cosmetic line called "Confidently Ready," by Josie Passantino.
Currently, she is working on several musical collaborations.
