Magda Brownis a 91-year-old Holocaust survivor. On her 17thbirthday, Magda was separated from her family and shipped off to the Auschwitz concentration camp. She spent two months in horrible conditions in Auschwitz before she was sent to a work camp to fill bombs with liquid chemicals, discoloring her skin and hair. In March of 1945, Magda was going to be sent on a death march, but luckily, Magda and several prisoners escaped and hid in a nearby barn until they were saved by American soldiers. Today, Magda travels to schools, churches, synagogues, and events around the world to share her story with as many people as possible.
