Annual Industry Awards Winners Announced by New Jersey Builders Association

Robbinsville, NJ, April 02, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The New Jersey Builders Association is pleased to announce its annual Industry Award winners honoring professionals who have made outstanding contributions to the housing industry in New Jersey.

“Meeting the housing needs of New Jersey’s residents requires the work of dedicated professionals in numerous fields,” says Timothy J. Touhey, Executive Vice President of the New Jersey Builders Association.

The awards will be presented on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at the Atlantic City Convention Center at 11:30 a.m. during the NJBA Annual Industry Awards Luncheon featuring entertainment by The Second City Improvisational Theatre Company.

The winners of the New Jersey Builders Association’s 2008 Industry Awards are:
• Builder of the Year: Mary Anderson, of Homes by Mary B. Anderson, Linwood (NJ)
• Associate of the Year: Anthony Bevilacqua, of Anthony & Company, Inc., Flemington (NJ)
• Remodeler of the Year: Tom Menard, of Menard Construction Co., Inc, Millburn (NJ)
• Remodeler Hall of Fame: Kevin Frasco, of Craig Custom Builders, Wayne (NJ)
• Builder Hall of Fame Award: John D’Anastasio, of D’Anastasio Corporation, Pennsauken (NJ); and Steve Caporaso, of K. Hovnanian Homes, Edison (NJ)
• Associate Hall of Fame: Rick Riccardi, of Marathon Engineering and Environmental Services, Swedesboro (NJ); and Judy Jacovelli, of 2-10 Home Builders Warranty, Marlton (NJ)
• Builder Continuing Service Award: Winfield “Ziggy” Ziegenfuss, of Daniel Gregory, Inc., Mullica Hill (NJ)
• Silver Hammer: Mauro Greco, of Maran Company, Kearny (NJ); and George Kohn – In memoriam, formerly of Observer Construction Co., Naples (FL)
• Preservation of the American Dream Award: Jirair Hovnanian – In memoriam, formerly of J.S. Hovnanian & Sons, Inc., Mt. Laurel (NJ)
• Affordable Housing Award: Leonard Solondz, of Affordable Housing Developers, Inc., Millburn (NJ)
• Lifetime Service Award: Patrick J. O’Keefe, former CEO, New Jersey Builders Association, Robbinsville (NJ)
