WTS 2019 will be held on 13-14 November 2019 in Dubai and is under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. WTS carries the theme "Tolerance in Multiculturalism: Achieving Social, Economic and Humanitarian Benefits of a Tolerant World."

The event is a comprehensive platform for dialogue, discussion, exchange of views and experiences. It also offers the means where stakeholders can work to build creative partnerships to adopt initiatives that promote the principles and values of tolerance among people based on the consolidation and dissemination of concepts that accept diversity, pluralism and respect for differences. Likewise it aims to establish global bridges of humanity, culture and unity with the participation of more than 2,000 professionals, experts, academics, social activists and envoys from the international diplomatic community.

Dr. Hamad Al Shaibani, Managing Director of the International Institute for Tolerance and the Chairman of the Higher Committee for World Tolerance Summit, stressed that the great support given by the sponsors of the Summit will have a significant impact on the success of the event and will enhance the prestige of the UAE as a role model for tolerance and coexistence thanks to the great role played by its wise government under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, in consolidating the values of tolerance, respect for the rights and freedom of thought, and acceptance of others regardless of race and religion to strengthen human ties. He also pointed out the participation of officials and respective personnel to come up with a number of recommendations and decisions, and to formulate effective strategies that promote a culture of tolerance and peace around the world.
