Blue Shark Vodka Honors Local Ecology
Signature Drink Named for Masonboro Island
Wilmington, NC, July 01, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Ahoy! The days are bright, and the nights are clear. Blue Shark Vodka announces another signature drink: Masonboro Punch.
Named for the largest undisturbed barrier island along the southern part of the North Carolina coast, the drink is Blue Shark Vodka’s way to pay homage to the surrounding natural beauty of New Hanover County. Masonboro Island is located approximately five miles southeast of Wilmington in the most populous part of the North Carolina coast.
Blue Shark Vodka's Masonboro Punch
1 cup Blue Shark Vodka
1 cup black raspberry liqueur
3 cups limeade
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup raspberries
1 apple or 1/4 honeydew melon, cut into star shapes
Ice, as needed
In a large pitcher, combine the Blue Shark Vodka, black raspberry liqueur, and limeade. Chill until cold. Serve over ice with blueberries, raspberries, and apple stars for a patriotic twist.
(Tip: if using apples in this recipe, soak them in a bit of 7UP after cutting the star shapes to prevent them from turning brown.)
Full Recipes From The Reef and drink-making tips are available on their website and The Blue Tube, their YouTube channel.
