Milpitas Christian School Wins “Best in Silicon Valley” Award
MCS wins Best Tutoring and Learning Center and Best Private School (runner up) Accolades.
Milpitas, CA, July 11, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Silicon Valley residents have voted Milpitas Christian School (MCS) to be the best in the valley. For the first time, MCS won the coveted “Best Tutoring and Learning Center” award. MCS was also recognized as the “Best Private School” (runner up). Milpitas Christian School is a non-denominational Christian preschool, elementary school and middle school.
“For more than 45 years, Milpitas Christian School has been the premiere private school in our community,” explained Connie Segreto, President of the Board for Milpitas Christian School. “When students finish the eighth grade, they continue to refine their academic and leadership qualities, building upon a rock solid foundation laid out at MCS. Our recent alumni are well represented in Ivy League and other elite universities.”
The Best Tutoring and Learning Center
The Learning Lab at MCS is a place where students can come to get help with homework or to receive assistance with building skills needed to be successful in learning and in life.
In addition to offering standard homework assistance, the Learning Lab offers support and services to those students struggling with mild to moderate learning disabilities. Students are given the skills and training to help them succeed. The Lab also offers the Renaissance Club for highly qualified students in grades 3 through 8.
“Our main priority is to help students feel treasured, supported and validated--without that, learning cannot take place,” elaborated Kathy Yao, Learning Lab Director for Milpitas Christian School. “One of the unique features of our program is that we seek to connect with teachers and parents to provide the best service possible.”
