Cynergy Professional Systems Awarded $3 Billion Department of Homeland Security Tactical Communications Equipment and Services Contract

(Cynergy), which offers cutting-edge communication systems and federal information technology solutions, has been awarded as a prime contractor on the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Tactical Communications Equipment and Services II (TacCom II) contract vehicle supporting all agencies throughout the department.
TacCom II is a multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Multi-Agency Contract (MAC) and is designated as a Best-In-Class (BIC) solution. This contract features two technical categories: one for equipment (radios, infrastructure, and satellite solutions) and one for services (systems integration, installation, engineering, and operations and maintenance).

TacCom II is notable in that it increases government interoperability by improving communication across federal agencies. The equipment and services offered through the contract vehicle can be used for all types of missions including maritime, airborne, and land-based.
