Rosalie Cushman Releases Third Book; Vibrating At The Speed Of Love
Sonoma, CA, July 17, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Rosalie Cushman Press announced today, “Vibrating At The Speed Of Love” is now available at numerous retail outlets, across several platforms. (ISBN: 978-1-7338023-0-7 paperback, ISBN: 978-1-7338023-1-4 eBook.) A simply stated book, it traverses a contemplative spiritual journey examining two states: fear and love.
“My life—our lives—are filled with tension, at times severe, between earthly ego-driven I-want-things-to-be-a-certain-way notions, bloated with our precious opinions and judgments that keep us from the peace that passes understanding and Spirit,” suggests Cushman, “a condition that requires resolution if one is to truly know peace.”
Rosalie Cushman, author and owner of Rosalie Cushman Press, has written two other books, “The Man Confused By God” and “One Grasshopper’s Journey.” The Press’s focus is to produce spiritually relevant non-fiction works based on struggles their subjects have endured and overcome to one degree or another. The first title deals with a Holocaust survivor who questions God’s very existence.
In the second, the Grasshopper story portrays a child survivor of the Korean War raised in a strict Pentecostal tradition who questions the dangers of religious indoctrination. The Press’s latest release, “Vibrating At The Speed Of Love,” departs from pure story-telling and instead focuses meditation style on the challenges to God by the ego itself, whether conscious or unconscious—a state that became acute when the author was diagnosed with a tumor several years ago.
Stylistically, each brief passage is the whisper that beckons the reader into a progressive intuition of universal truths, an I-have-known-It-all-along recognition. Consistent with the meditation genre, the reader sits with, considers and let’s sink deep each passage. In this way, the meditation format is a departure from the Press’s previous books, although thematically the same.
Drawn conceptually from “A Course in Miracles” with occasional references to the body of work conducted by Dr. David R. Hawkins, the text’s focus is to lead to greater spiritual insights and understanding. Ultimately, however, it is the value of Cushman’s personal experience itself that breaks through, offering promise and hope to not her alone, but to anyone’s unafraid heart.
“Vibrating At The Speed Of Love” is available in both print and eBook formats at Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, Ingram, Apple Books and at fine bookstores everywhere.
