Cobble Beach Concours d'Elegance Gearing Up for 7th Year

Owen Sound, Canada, July 18, 2019 --(PR.com)-- The shores of Georgian Bay and the lush fairways of Cobble Beach Golf Resort will once again be the canvas on which to present over 100 beautiful and rarely seen works of automotive art. Thousands from all over Canada and the United States will gather to appreciate the craftsmanship of the automobiles, as well as the riveting stories of the people who have owned them throughout their years. Only the most elegant, original and authentic vehicles are invited to participate in the Sunday Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Over the past six years, $440,000 has been donated to the Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation and the Sunnybrook Foundation. Net proceeds from the Sunday Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance will be donated to Sunnybrook for the construction of the Garry Hurvitz Brain Sciences Centre, where researchers and clinicians work towards revolutionizing treatments for dementia, stroke, mood and anxiety disorders.

The 7th annual Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance weekend features a wide range of events that take place over the course of 2 days. Highlights of Saturday’s events include the return of the 3rd annual Cars & Coffee at Cobble Beach, 2 automotive seminars, vendors, and the Hagerty Classic Car Ride & Drive program will keep attendees engaged all day. The day also includes activities for Concours Participants and Judges including the Participants’ Tour which takes many of the vintage automobiles out on a 90km tour of Grey Bruce County for the morning. The day will conclude with the Kick-Off Reception (for participants) and live auction benefiting the Sunnybrook Foundation.

The main event, the Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance, will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2019 and has grown to be Canada’s most prestigious automotive show. This incredible event draws vehicles and their owners from all over North America. Held on the 18th fairway of Cobble Beach Golf Resort, this extraordinary bayside course plays host to a rich assortment of international automobiles and distinguished guests.

The 2019 Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance takes place Saturday, September 14 & Sunday, September 15, 2019 featuring judged (vehicle) classes ranging in automobiles from the early 1900's to present day. On Saturday, September 14, the Participant Tour will take place on local county roads as well as Cars & Coffee at Cobble Beach. Sunday, September 15, the Concours d’Elegance will be held on the 18th fairway of Cobble Beach Golf Resort & Community overlooking to beautiful waters of Georgian Bay.
