Horticulture Lighting Group, Through Its Distributor HLG-UK-Europe, Recently Launched an Upgraded Commercial Version of the HLG 550 V2
The HLG 550 V2 Rspec made by the Horticulture Lighting Group, in the US, is now available in the United Kingdom and Europe via their Distributor HLG-UK-Europe.
Wellingborough, United Kingdom, July 24, 2019 --(PR.com)-- "The HLG 550 V2 Rspec is a direct replacement to a 1000 watt hps grow light. The HLG 550 V2 Rspec uses 4 of Horticulture Lighting Group's custom designed full-spectrum high efficiency white light quantum boards, which feature Samsung LM301B and Deep Red 660nm Osram LED’s," said Sean Robonsin of HLG-UK-Europe.
He went on to say, “Hobbyist growers were looking for grow lights that produce considerably less heat than the current hps grow light offerings. The HLG 550 V1 was a major step toward achieving that objective and things are progressing nicely, especially with the latest HLG Rspec series.
“Design meetings, feedback from existing customers and the Group's commitment toward providing the very best LED grow lights for today’s buyers; has resulted in affordable, high spec, and reliable grow lights that most of our competitors simply cannot match.”
He continued, "Everyone was waiting for the release of the Rspec, it was much hyped and it has certainly lived up to all that attention. It kicks out 6.69% more light than its predecessor and produces more light in the 660nm – 730nm region to help reduce overall harvest times, leaving many lights in its class, far behind in the terms of performance and value for money."
"When we notified people that the Rspec was coming," Sean continued. "We received email after email, for the HLG 550 V2 Rspec, we just couldn't keep up, as soon as the stock landed, it was straight out the door again." Demand is so great for the Rspec, that there is a waiting list, and people have to put their names down to get one or more as soon as they arrive, so they don't miss out and have to wait for the next delivery.
The newly released LED Light has high efficiency white light quantum boards, with a 3500k full-spectrum White and 660nm Red worked into it; its manufactured with waterproof connectors and cable protectors; it conforms to UL Std 1598 and it is Certified to CSA Std C22.2#250.0, which means it can be used in commercial agriculture environments.
Overall the HLG 550 Rspec produces more light per watt, than its competitors and it can be used to illuminate large areas, by configuring multiple HLG-550 V2 Rspec lamps in such a way that the light emitted from each fixture overlaps to produce a nice even blanket of photons across a large area, for instance in a commercial grow setting.
Having a fully supported 3-year warranty with the new light, also helps to make the new Rspec an attractive proposition for the hobbyist and commercial growers alike.
Sean concluded by saying, "We are really excited here at HLG-UK-Europe with this new offering. It's already taking the market by storm, and the feedback we have received about this new LED grow light is extremely positive."
