Energy New England to Use eTRACK+ for Administering Mass MLP Solar Rebate Program
ANB Systems Deploys eTRACK+ for Energy New England
Houston, TX, July 24, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Earlier this year, ANB Systems launched its next generation tracking system to develop and manage workflows for utilities and several other industries. eTRACK+ is developed as a business process automation platform. Energy New England (ENE) recently adopted eTRACK+ to administer the Massachusetts Municipal Light Plant (MLP) Solar Rebate program. The DOER-backed MLP Solar Rebate Program has been available to customers of 38 MLP’s since May 20, 2019. ENE is the Program Administrator for 19 MLPs, with Massachusetts Municipal Electric Cooperative (MMWEC) representing the remainder. ENE recognized the need to streamline the application process and partnered with ANB Systems to create an online portal that would serve multiple stakeholders. Customers that have obtained interconnection approval from their MLP can submit the application to ENE for processing and then evaluation by the DOER. ENE ensures program qualification and compliance, and issues payment upon completion of solar installation.
“The rapid deployment of the eTRACK+ platform will streamline the application and review process, ensuring that rebates are paid in a timely manner and project records are available to all stakeholders instantaneously,” said Mr. S. Balakrishnan, Chief Executive Officer of ANB Systems, Inc.
“The eTRACK+ platform will allow ENE to efficiently administer a very complicated application and review process. Not only will eTRACK+ ensure accuracy but will provide utilities and customers with visibility of their application and timely status updates,” said Ms. Kristin Dupre, Director of Demand Side Management of Energy New England.
Following the past success with DER Portal for a Texas-based utility, ANB upgraded their flagship product to empower the stakeholders to quickly transform the complex business operations into simple apps. With the solution provided to ENE, ANB took an additional step in DER industry by providing a tracking system not just for DER installations but also for rebate programs associated with it. eTRACK+ is designed for ENE to be a single platform for customers across utilities to apply for rebates and get their applications processed from corresponding utilities.
About Energy New England (ENE):
ENE is the largest wholesale risk management and energy trading organization serving the needs of municipal utilities in the northeast. ENE works with numerous businesses, residents and utilities to help promote the principles of conservation, efficiency, and environmental stewardship, and advances the many benefits available through integrated sustainability planning.
