West Babylon, NY, July 23, 2019 --(PR.com)-- On Monday July 15, 2019, the Atlantic Automotive Group acquired the Babylon Honda dealership, located on the south shore of Long Island. Atlantic is the largest automotive group in the New York metropolitan region, having sold over 55,000 vehicles in 2018, with over 250,000 retail customers.
Renamed “The New Babylon Honda,” the dealership will remain at its prior location at 650 Montauk Highway in West Babylon. The beautiful new service facility will remain at 100 Evergreen Street, also in West Babylon. Atlantic also owns and operates Honda dealerships in Bay Shore and Hempstead, and has a total of 16 auto dealership locations in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
"We are excited about the opportunity to take this dealership to the next level of success," said Peter Zorzy, Atlantic CEO. “Babylon Honda customers are loyal to the brand and to the dealership, and our goal is to enhance their consumer experience in every way possible.”
Atlantic’s relationship with the Honda brand goes back to the 1970’s when Atlantic owner John Staluppi was among the first dealers in the U.S. to take a chance on offering the fuel efficient Civic to car buyers.
