Indico Solutions Announces Added Systematic Review Functionality and Strategic Partnership with The Alliance for the Implementation of Clinical Practice Guidelines

Indico Solutions of Melbourne, Australia and Chicago, IL announces a strategic partnership with The Alliance for the Implementation of Clinical Practice Guidelines (AiCPG) and the release of new functionality to the systematic review experience with the Indico Guidelines Platform.

Chicago, IL, July 23, 2019 --(PR.com)-- “Supporting our guideline clients need for both development and dissemination resources is the foundation of Indico,” said Mathew Stanhope, Principal at Indico Solutions. “Driving efficiencies in the systematic review process is crucial for service bureaus and Guideline Developing Organizations (GDO).” The new functionality includes bulk allocation of title and abstract to multiple screeners, PICO question specific screening criteria and improved work-flow reporting. Additionally, the Platform now includes the capability to generate Excel templates which allow offline data extraction and subsequent importing as well as data exports for meta analyses. These improvements add to the most comprehensive guideline solution on the market – one that can be configured to any guideline methodology and workflow requirements, solves for content and collaboration management and supports dissemination through web services and mobile apps.

Indico’s new strategic partnership with AiCPG will further GDO’s need to promote access to evidence-based knowledge. Joel Harder, AiCPG Executive Director states, “AiCPG is committed to designing the Guideline Clearinghouse 2.0 to function to help make clinical practice guidelines and practice support available to physicians to support patient safety and improve health outcomes. Indico Solutions has built its reputation on helping Guideline Developers produce guidelines consistent with the 2011 Institute of Medicine’s Standards for Developing Trustworthy Clinical Practice Guidelines. Today’s announcement demonstrates AiCPG’s commitment to health improvement by creating a pathway to improve the implementation of high-quality guidelines that works for providers,” said Chris Wolfkiel, PhD, Indico Solutions US Director. “Achieving voluntary consensus standards for guideline dissemination is crucial for all developers, as it allows a common set of resources to efficiently be developed and maintained. Indico is proud to partner with AiCPG.”
