Writer and Musician Jennifer Juan Releases Brand New Music Video and Confirms Upcoming EP Release
London, United Kingdom, August 07, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Writer and musician Jennifer Juan has confirmed the release of her upcoming EP, “Sleepwalking,” the follow up to her May release "Subliminals," with the premiere of her latest music video, for the title track.
Announcing the EP's release, set for the 30th of August, across all major digital stores and streaming platforms, Juan released the music video for the title track on her YouTube Channel and official website, while also making the EP available for pre-order on musical platform Bandcamp.
Beginning with a delicious doo-wop inspired introduction, over softly lit shots of vinyl in black and white, the video and song almost melts into colour as the song settles into a lo-fi sound, over nostalgic shots of Blackpool.
“In a way, the title track, Sleepwalking is a sequel to my media project Drowning In Us," Juan said, referring to her 2018 cross media project, Drowning In Us, which told the story of two star crossed lovers at odds with reality, through music, film and written literature. "The whole of the EP explores different things I've written about before, in new ways."
Following the release of her May EP "Subliminals", and the earlier single "A View From The Bridge," which have amassed tens of thousands of streams and downloads, across multiple platforms, "Sleepwalking" is a further exploration of Juan's talents as a writer and performer. Taking new steps in exploring genres, the EP experiments with doo-wop, glitch hop and soft grunge, as well as the lo-fi and indie pop sounds that are familiar to Juan's music.
“Sleepwalking” will be available from all major digital streaming platforms and digital music stores, including Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, Amazon, Bandcamp and iTunes from Friday, the 30th of August 2019. The music video for Sleepwalking is available to stream on YouTube or JenniferJuan.com
