Morguefile sends users on photo assignments called "Quests."
These Quests challenge their registered amateur and professional photographers to capture the best photographs for given assignments. Each day, Morguefile allows creatives to submit a new task that tests their users' photography skills putting them head-to-head with their registered peers. These are real world assignments from creatives that follow Morguefile's long established core concept of being for creatives and by creatives. Photographers who garner the most likes win posted prizes. Creatives get real-world recognition and royalty-free photos for comp usage of their photos.

Morguefile has also introduced monthly image packs, where 30 images are featured from the Morguefile archive and shared by email to subscribed users.
