The SFC First Annual Granny Awards Are Announced
Children’s Writers and Illustrators are putting on their best attire in preparation for the Stories for Children Annual SFC “Granny” Awards.
Ivins, UT, April 04, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Editorial Staff at Stories for Children Magazine decided to have an award recognizing their "Personal Favorite Contributions" in 2007. Since two of their editors are "Grannies," they got to name this award.
“It’s been a year of growth,” states VS Grenier, Editor and Owner of Stories for Children Magazine. “Our readers have seen many changes and there are still more to come, but it’s our contributors I really need to thank. Without them, there would Not Be Stories for Children Magazine. They freely donate their talents each month and that is why the editorial staff and I worked on coming up with an award.”
Gayle Jacobson-Huset, Assistant Editor said, “I think it will mean so much to our contributors and give them a big smile. We just really wanted to say Thank you for all your hard work.”
The different categories for the Annual SFC “Granny” Awards are Fiction, Non-fiction, Artwork/Illustration, Poetry, and Young Author.
“It’s going to be lots of fun at Stories for Children Magazine this April. We’re not only giving away awards . . . it’s out birthday, too!” states VS Grenier.
Stories for Children Magazine has built a strong readership with schools, teachers, libraries, and families over this last year. Their goal for the future? To bring Stories for Children Magazine, Stanley Bookman, and the wonderful World of Ink to everyone.
