Future Electronics President Robert Miller Congratulates Carol Price on 30 Years
Future Electronics and its President, Robert Miller, recently recognized Carol Price on the 30th anniversary of her employment with the company.
Pointe Claire, Canada, August 11, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Future Electronics is a global leading distributor of electronic components with corporate headquarters in Montreal, Canada.
Robert Miller, the company's President, recently congratulated employee Carol Price on the occasion of her 30th anniversary with the company.
"I was introduced to Future Electronics through a placement agency," Carol said. "Six months turned into more than 30 years!"
Carol's first day at Future Electronics was March 27, 1989, when she began working in Computer Products. She soon moved to Data Entry, before finding her niche in Market Research, where she worked for many years. Carol rose to the position of Senior Coordinator, Market Research, before taking on her current role of Senior Coordinator, Database (Credit & Collections) in the Finance Department in 2017.
"Future Electronics is an awesome, progressive, growing company, and I'm grateful to them for giving me opportunities in these fields," Carol said. "I've met and trained a wide range of employees in the various posts I've filled, and I've established long-term friendships with many of them."
Outside of work, Carol has always believed in the importance of investing in the community. Through her church, she has devoted many years to organizing and leading activities with children and youth groups. "It's been very rewarding, seeing their lives change and watching them become well-respected and contributing members of society." She also assists seniors who don't have families to support them, helping them with shopping and being by their side during hospital stays.
Family also continues to play a major role in Carol's life. "My two grandsons are my pride and joy," she said. "I enjoy whatever activities they pull me into, whether it's putting on skates to be their home hockey goalie, pulling the sled, pitching the baseball, attending their games, or just being an ear to listen."
Founder and President Robert Miller has always believed that Future's employees are the company's greatest asset. Future Electronics highly values the commitment of its people, and milestone anniversaries are recognized with personalized cards, plaques, vouchers, and other gifts based on length of tenure.
