Northern Kentucky Small Business Development Center has several planned seminars on managing a successful small business.

Highland Heights, KY, April 04, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Managing a Successful Small Business - Parts I & II

This practical two-part seminar series is designed for those who intend to start their own businesses, who are exploring the possibility, or who recently started a business. Learn about accounting requirements, business planning, sources of financial and management assistance, creating profitable sales, legal aspects, financial management and determining your start up costs. Series is $50 for both sessions.

Legal Considerations for New Businesses
This workshop presented with a local attorney allows you, the prospective small business owner, to review the steps that must be taken in order to start a new business and focus on a realistic view of all that is involved. Topics discussed by include: business filings, licenses, legal structure, insurance, taxes, financing, advisors, etc. Fee is $25 and includes Legal Guide for Small Business.

Tax and Record Requirements of Small Business
Learn about the rules, records, and requirements of tax planning. The seminar focuses on types of business entities, accounting methods, employments issues, tax rules, financial statements, and more. Bring your business and/or tax questions and learn the solutions. Fee is $25 and includes an IRS Tax Planning Calendar.
