Meet HBM at PPMA Total Show 2019
Visitors to this year’s Processing and Packaging Machinery Association (PPMA Total Show) can see HBM’s latest measurement solutions, including its PW27 load cell, which enables food and pharmaceutical industries to carry out fast, hygenic weight testing on packaged products.
Royston, United Kingdom, August 24, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Created for aeseptic applications use, PW27/25 is precise, robust and easy to clean, making it suitable for the germ-free, hygienic standards required by companies producing and filling packaging with food products or medine. PW27 is the first load cell - in this maximum capacity range, designed according to the standards of the European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG). The PW27 load cell is well protected against moisture and extremely tough (protection class IP68/IP69K). It is prepared for cleaning with steam jets and ensures even the cable plugs are protected. The integrated overload protection is up to 1,000% of the maximum capacity, so the load cell will not break, even if it‘s is accidentally stepped on during operation or cleaning.
Visitors to HBM’s booth will also get a look at PAD, the company’s connector for linking analog transducers and load cells to the digital world. This convenient, single-channel amplifier digitises all analogue load cells and is compatible with an M12 connector, making it ideal for check weighing or filling and dosing.
HBM will also be demonstrating its robust and easy-to-clean Z6R Bending Beam Load Cell, which enables packing manuafactuers to weigh items ranging from 20 to 200kg. Z6R guarantees peak performance in applications with high requirements for hygiene or in harsh environments.
Taking place from 1st to 3rd October, at the NEC Birmingham in the UK, PPMA Total Show is the UK’s biggest exhibition of processing and packaging machinery. Visitors can network, attend seminars, source new ideas and solutions - and meet potential new suppliers, influencers and technical experts.
