Austin, TX Entrepreneur Wins International Emerging Leader Award from eWomenNetwork
Allyese Goodwin, CEO of Marie Creative, was named the 2019 Emerging Leader of the Year at the eWomenNetwork International Conference on August 3, 2019.
Austin, TX, August 25, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Allyese Goodwin announced today that she has been named the 2019 Emerging Leader by eWomenNetwork, the largest international women’s business networking organization. Goodwin was nominated by the eWomenNetwork-Austin Chapter to represent the women business owners from the capitol city. Goodwin competed against candidates from 11 chapters from around the world and received the award in front of 1,500 women business leaders.
eWomenNetwork CEO, Sandra Yancey, indicated that all of the managing directors on the selection committee chose Goodwin as their number one choice.
In her acceptance speech, Goodwin told the international audience gathered at the Embassy Suites in Frisco, TX that she was relocated to Texas along with her family after Hurricane Katrina devastated her hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. Revealing a surprise coincidence, she explained, “After Hurricane Katrina we stayed at this same hotel so it’s full circle to be back here accepting the award for the Emerging Leader of the Year!”
As part of her duties as Emerging Leader of the Year, Goodwin will serve as eWomenNetwork’s ambassador to reaching other young women and helping support their business efforts. Additionally, she will represent the Austin, TX chapter on the eWomenNetwork Millennial Council.
“Beyond demonstrating excellence in academics, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy, Allyese was chosen as the Emerging Leader of the Year for her strong heartfelt commitment to supporting other business women,” explained Grace Lanni, Managing Director for eWomenNetwork-Austin. “She (Goodwin) has been an amazing representative of the dynamic members we have in the Austin Chapter, and now will be an equally strong representative for the eWomenNetwork chapters from across the world!”
