Newly Patented Artificial Intelligence App Combatting Drug/Alcohol Addiction

PerfectCoaches Joining Forces with Treatment Providers to Combat Alcohol/Drug Addiction / Newly Patented, Cutting-edge Tool Combines Psychology of Operant Learning with Artificial Intelligence to Help Mitigate Relapse Risk Factors

Washington, DC, August 30, 2019 --(PR.com)-- In recognition of 2019 National Recovery Month in September, PerfectCoaches® seeks to partner with alcohol/drug treatment practitioners and experts nationwide to support those battling the scourge of addiction.

There are at least two key risk factors associated with relapse that PerfectCoaches could help treatment providers mitigate through the use of their newly patented behavioral change tool:

Lack of accountability on the part of the alcoholic/addict to follow through on tasks or activities deemed necessary for recovery; and
Disruption of personal bonds and networks that are formed during treatment.

As a first step, PerfectCoaches is calling for input and feedback from subject matter experts on our needs assessment and proposed mitigation strategies. Participants/partners will receive a number of benefits, including a unique opportunity to differentiate themselves from other providers by expanding their service offerings. We will also publicly recognize contributors via our social media platforms.

PerfectCoaches represents a breakthrough in behavioral change and skill development, both for individuals and organizations. It empowers individuals to change behaviors and develop skills in a simple, predictable, and inexpensive manner - all in just a few minutes a day with a user-friendly app on their laptops or mobile devices.

The PerfectCoaches app and method is rooted in the well-established psychology of operant learning, and involves a cyclical process of self-awareness, behavioral focus, and feedback. The feedback serves to increase self-awareness - propelling the cycle to begin anew and with greater efficacy each time.

PerfectCoaches recently moved its artificial intelligence engine - Adaptive Motivational Interface, or “AMI” - into production and has launched a rigorous user testing effort to improve the engine. AMI now supports the current human coaches who provide feedback, and one day will serve as the primary coaching mechanism.

In essence, the tool harnesses the potential of artificial intelligence to advance a most fundamental (but often elusive) human pursuit: self-awareness. It has been applied with great success in the federal government, nonprofit, and other sectors, and all indications are that it will provide a host of benefits also to the addiction treatment and recovery community.
