TechFlow’s Robert Baum and Mark Carter Honored as Patriotic Employers by the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve
Company leaders were nominated by Anthony Aquino, Colonel and the Deputy Brigade Commander for the 599th Transportation Brigade in the U.S. Army Reserve.
San Diego, CA, September 03, 2019 --(PR.com)-- TechFlow, a forward-thinking logistics and digital services solutions company, today announced Robert Baum, TechFlow CEO and Mark Carter, TechFlow President and COO, were recipients of the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriotic Employer Awards.
The awards program is designed to recognize employers who support a strong National Guard and Reserve force. As an all-volunteer force who are called upon when needed, the National Guard and reserves sustainability depends on the support of patriotic employers who provide support, understanding and job security when their employees answer the call of duty.
“If there is one award I would like to win, it would be as a Patriotic Employer,” said Robert Baum, TechFlow CEO. “At TechFlow, we take pride in serving our nation through the work we do for our customers. We are deeply committed to our role of modernizing and maintaining systems and operations to keep our nation safe and strong. And supporting our National Guard and Reserve program fits right into this mission. Patriotism runs high at TechFlow.”
“I was honored to be recognized with the Patriotic Employer Award,” said Mark Carter, TechFlow President and COO. “On behalf of the company, I would like to express our appreciation to the brave men and women who volunteer for the National Guard and Reserve. We understand the sacrifices they often must make to ensure our nation’s operational readiness to protect all of our well-being. The least we can do is encourage and support them as they bring their experience, expertise and professionalism to serve our country with honor and distinction.”
Robert Baum and Mark Carter were nominated by Anthony Aquino, President of TechFlow Mission Support (EMI Services). Mr. Aquino started his career in the U.S. Army serving as an Infantry Platoon Leader stationed in Vicenza, Italy. He was activated in 2001 as an Army Reservist and served as the Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) Secretary of the General Staff (SGS) and SDDC’s Liaison Officer to CENTCOM in 2003 where he was deployed to Southwest Asia for the initial phase of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
