Since 1922, the country has celebrated Fire Prevention Week in October. This year, Fire Prevention week is Sunday October 6 through Saturday October 12 and Firefighter Ray Cooney is available to discuss and demonstrate the importance of fire safety both in and out of the home.

Ray, who also volunteers with the Bayport Fire Department on Long Island, created this show because of his love of the fire service. Firefighter Ray Cooney has been a frequent guest GMA Day, Fox and Friends, WPIX News and The Dr. Oz Showas well as other shows and events.
