Operation Food Search Names Christian Hospital President to Its Board
Rick Stevens joins St. Louis non-profit agency's board.
St. Louis, MO, September 14, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Operation Food Search (OFS), a non-profit hunger relief organization, recently named Rick Stevens to its board. Board members are eligible to serve two consecutive three-year terms.
Stevens is the president of Christian Hospital, a member of BJC HealthCare. He provides strategic leadership and oversees daily operations of the 485 licensed bed hospital located in north St. Louis County. Stevens manages $60 million in renovations, new construction, and technology for Christian Hospital including the new Siteman Cancer Center. He also serves as president of the Christian Hospital Foundation, which has funded two school-based health centers in north St. Louis County.
Stevens has more than 25 years of health care experience. He holds a master’s degree in public health from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn. and earned a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is board certified in healthcare management.

Founded in 1981, Operation Food Search (OFS) is a hunger relief organization that provides food and nutrition education. With a strategic focus aimed at ending childhood hunger, OFS empowers families with a range of programs and services proven to reduce food insecurity and increase access to healthy and affordable food. The agency helps feed more than 200,000 individuals on a monthly basis, one-third of which are children, through a network of 330 community partners in 31 Missouri and Illinois counties.
