Scintica Instrumentation and Aspect Imaging Announce Exclusive Agreement for Pre-Clinical MRI Imaging Products
London, Canada, September 18, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Scintica Instrumentation Inc. is excited to announce its exclusive distribution agreement with Aspect Imaging for the M-Series(TM) MRI systems for scientific research. With more than 100 MRI installations worldwide, Aspect’s compact MRI systems are self-shielding, cryogen free and do not need any water connections, making them easy to install and maintain for laboratories, animal facilities and core facilities.
The exceptional image quality of these 1T MRI systems make them a cost-effective alternative to 3T, and even 9T systems, with higher sensitivity to both Gadolinium and Iron Oxide based contrast agents. Direct comparison studies of M-series system images with those of larger systems highlights the exquisite detail that can be obtained on the M-Series, 1 Tesla, product line. Faster image capture times for this system also greatly enhance high throughput imaging.
Blair Poetschke, President of Scintica Instrumentation, says, “Our in-house team of scientists and experts are excited to be able to introduce this compact MRI system to our customers and provide them an opportunity to better integrate MRI and PET/MRI into a wide variety of biological research applications including cancer, neurology, cardiology and more. The cost effective and self-contained nature of the Aspect M Series systems can make MR Imaging accessible to a larger number of researchers both inside and outside of core imaging facilities.”
Wendy Slatery, Chief Commercial Officer for Aspect Imaging, says, “We are pleased to engage Scintica Instrumentation and their expert scientific staff as our partner in sales, marketing and support. Our world class Compact MRI system, has been precision engineered to offer all researchers the ability to harness the power and insights of MRI as quickly and easily as 3D echo and other mobile imaging modalities that are used today.”
