Ocala, FL, September 18, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Shade Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce it has broken ground on a major construction project to expand its manufacturing plant and headquarters.
The Company’s world class factory and offices located in Ocala, Florida, currently occupy 50,000 square feet of design, engineering, and manufacturing space on 8 acres of industrial land. After completion of this expansion project, the Company’s plant space will have more than doubled to over 100,000 square feet to better accommodate the demands of its continuing business growth.
Alan Bayman, President and CEO, expressed the shared enthusiasm of the entire Shade Systems team: “Our explosive growth in recent years has been remarkable, and we are very excited to be embarking on this major expansion of our manufacturing plant to significantly increase our production capacity and thereby better serve our customers’ needs.”
The increased plant space will house a second powder-coating line, expanded sewing department, and state-of-the-art overhead material handling bridge crane system, among other key manufacturing technologies to gain increased production efficiencies, increase output, and further ensure quality control.
Construction is expected to last approximately 6 months, with a target completion date of March 2020. Normal plant operations are expected to continue with minimal impact from construction work.
