Psychological Associates Launches New Division
60-year-old, St. Louis business adds new Organization Development department.
St. Louis, MO, September 19, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Psychological Associates (PA), a consulting company that applies behavioral science to business performance, recently announced the creation of its newest Organization Development division. The department will allow PA to maximize transformational efforts beyond traditional human capital consulting with its new and existing clients.
Organization Development (OD) combines behavioral sciences, change management, and process improvement principles to revolutionize an organization at every level. It encompasses proactive, prepared interventions to develop an organization’s well-being while aligning people, strategies, and management processes.
Psychological Associates' Vice President of Performance Consulting Dr. Patricia Bagsby will head the division. Dr. Cheryl Throgmorton joins the company as Vice President of Organization Development, and her responsibilities include developing and providing strategic OD solutions at both an organization-wide and individual-contributor service level of executive coaching and leadership development training.
Dr. Throgmorton has more than 25 years of organization development and human resource management experience. She currently serves as the president of the St. Louis Organization Development Network and sits on the board of trustees for the National OD Network, an organization committed to the science, practice, and impact of organization development.
Prior to joining PA, Dr. Throgmorton served as the Executive Director of Organization Development and Inclusion at MERCY. She previously worked at various healthcare institutions in numerous capacities including as a director of organizational learning and a manager of organizational effectiveness.
Dr. Throgmorton earned her Doctor of Education in Organization and Learning from the University of St. Thomas – Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. She has a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources Development, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Webster University in St. Louis, MO.
